In 2021 Tecomec launched a sustainability project to achieve its corporate values, focused on respect and innovation, in order to protect the environment.
Among the activities undertaken and thanks to the collaboration of both customers and employees, Tecomec shared a project of reforestation with its stakeholders to save the planet.
This is how Tecomec Forest is born: thanks to 400 trees planted so far, CO2 emissions will be reduced by more than 80,000 kg.
In line with its policy, Tecomec joined the 2030 agenda for Sustainable Development.

Tecomec has installed a 460,00 kWp photovoltaic system consisting of high efficiency photovoltaic panels and string inverters for converting the energy produced. The objective of the project was the installation of a photovoltaic system for self-consumption which compensates for the annual energy requirement. The support of the Union financed the project under the POR FESR 2014-2020 program (Axis 4 - Action 4.2.1).
Tecomec has completed the first phase of a sustainable project aimed at improving the environmental impact and well-being of its employees. The company's efforts included replacing the existing roof, improving insulation and introducing photovoltaic panels to produce energy from renewable sources.
The Group's commitment to safeguard the planet involves all its processes and workflows, starting from product development, by searching for technical and material solutions allowing the reduction of emissions and consumption, while keeping the same levels of performance.
Thanks to the use of the latest technologies, the product range of the Tecomec Group allows to save resources at all levels by offering trimmer heads, electric chain grinders and control systems for precision farming to reduce waste to the lowest possible level and to safeguard the crops.
Tecomec products and regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 (REACH)
In accordance with the art. 33 of the regulation (EC) n. 1907/2006 (REACH), Tecomec srl announces that in products having components in steel alloys, aluminum alloys and brass alloys, it is lead content (very high risk substance – SVHC – with CAS number 7439-92-1) in higher concentrations at 0,1% w/w. For these products, if used in accordance with their intended use, no special precautions for use are required.
